Wednesday July 8, today was one of the top 10 days to be on the water. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the fishing was great. Captain Speedy took the Peconic Star VI (Greenport’s biggest and most comfortable boat) out to the east and found excellent action with jumbo size porgy’s coming over the rails. ![]()

Sunday July 5th; I have to say that today was one of those days that the porgy were hungry and we had non stop action for the duration of our day today. Numerous customers had limits and everyone has plenty of fish for their freezers. ![]()

Tomorrow is going to be a wash out with the heavy rain and east winds so we are taking a much needed day off.

Friday July 3, both boats were out today trying to keep cool. Capt. Speedy had a decent catch of porgy and sea bass but many of the sea bass were returned to the sea because they were small. ![]()
Capt Matt had a 1/2 day charter. Fishing was on the slower side with the higher water temperatures. Our anglers still found some fish and had loads of fun.
