Tuesday August 11, excellent day on the scup grounds once again. Fishing on the North Fork and east end is definitely on fire. We had numerous limits today and again some nice trigger fish. The mates started cleaning fishing early and continued throughout the day ![]()

Sunday August 8th, a very nice crowd on the VI today with solid action once again of Porgy and some trigger fish in the mix. We really have had some good fishing to start off the month of August.
The Peconic Star VI is sailing daily 7:30 to 3pm.

Saturday August 8th, another beautiful day on the water and lots of bent rods. Capt Speedy had the VI out and reported solid action of porgy and a few trigger fish. Capt Matt had the VII out for a charter and reports non stop action all day on the scup grounds. Loads of laughs and a great time was had by all. ![]()
The Peconic Star VI will be sailing tomorrow 7:30. Reservations are strongly recommended

Friday July 31st, well we didn’t really know what to expect today after the rain this week. In a nutshell fishing was ok! Not great not poor just middle of the road. We did have a nice showing of Black Sea Bass, a few nice jumbo porgies and even a fluke which was returned to the bay. An excellent time was had by all. ![]()
Tomorrow we will have both boats sailing. Our full day boat the Peconic Star VI will depart at 7:30 and the Peconic Star VII will be out for the 9 am to 2 pm trip. ![]()

Wednesday July 29 trip is cancelled due to weather. We are hopeful to be back out on Thursday
Monday July 27, Today we had a charter on the Peconic Star VII and it was an absolute blast hosting Friend of Chef.
We had great porgy fishing from start to finish. The porgy bite on our Eastern area is red hot !!! Can’t forget to mention some trigger fish caught as well !! Both boats fished the same grounds today and it was just amazing!!! ![]()
No trips tomorrow Tuesday July 28 and Wednesday looks like it’s a washout but we are monitoring the weather closely.
Sunday July 26, we had both boats out today for a fantastic day of fishing!!!
Capt Matt had the VII out for the 1/2 day and had solid action throughout the trip with numerous jumbo porgy’s flying over the rail. He also had the first trigger fish of the season. ![]()
Capt Speedy had the VI out and he too reports solid action all day. ![]()
